This is the first ultrasound at 6 weeks 5 days. You can see the larger mass and the small embryo. The mass turned out to be a vanishing twin and by the ultrasound after aspirating it it was gone.
Date- 08/05/07- Week 15 and 3 days. Looking great and reptilian.

So you were originally going to have twins but the other one died? What?
I guess that's right. It was so early when the mass disappeared that the other twin never even became a viable fetus.
