Projects and so on

Here's a pic of a really yummy breakfast casserole I made for a brunch we went to on the weekend.
Here are the booties I made recently. They were made from fabric samples and for the soles as well. That didn't always work well. The seams were small, so they frayed at times. Future booties won't be made with those... Hopefully they will fit Olivia and I think the tan tent booties might be okay for Drake.

Teeth!

These suckers are sharp, too! I was finally able to snap some pictures of the "teeth". I was tickling him and he was giggling like crazy

Baby Booties

Here are some pics of my latest project. I made a few rejects and even these weren't easy to make the same size. I tried following a couple of patterns, but a some of the instructions were strange and I didn't have the exact hook or yarn.... so I made up my own pattern. They will be sent off to Sarah's Olivia soon. I will be sewing some booties tomorrow, so maybe I'll hold off on mailing them out right away. Drake and Clayton may get a pair, too, if they look manly enough.

Christmas Family

Here's a pic of the Thomas family wearing the dorky hats I made. (I like them, but the rest of the crew wasn't so thrilled.) I used a pretty simple pattern from Martha Stewart.

Haiku

Here's my second poem. We'll see if I can keep this us every day.

Awakening gusts
Threatening the house
Or the neighbor's tree
