Living Room Renovation Art

Here are some closeups of some areas in my living room. As you might guess, they need to be covered up. The view out the peep hole in the front door is there, to0.

Current Blooms

There a few flowers blooming around my house. The irises were transplanted from my last house and those had been transplanted, too. They were given to me by my friend, Diana. The columbine were here when we moved in, I think. I planted the camomile and that has been spreading. It's taller than I thought it would be. The camomile at our last place grew closer to the ground almost like a ground cover. Maybe it reacted to the wet soil there. Who knows? The last are jack-in-the-pulpits. I might have pulled those out for a couple of years thinking they were weeds. Next post, I will take some abstract pics of the living room renovation.

Swap Blog

I'm learning how this blog works and I've been visiting other people's blogs. Some are really good. I will add those links to my site eventually. One site I'm excited about is called Swap-bot and people partner up to make crafts for each other. Here's an example.http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/770 This page had this example and more. I haven't found any other galleries. There is a Haiku swap I would love to do, but I don't think I'll have time. http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/3783

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day, mom. I'm trying to upload a pic of mom, but I've been having trouble.
If the image shows up you will see my mom on the bottom left of the picture the light blue sweater.

I keep getting messages from my terrific student Katie. I just got on your blog and will respond!

May Art

I have some new paintings to show off. The flower ones are small: 4" X 6" to 5" X 7". I think my favorite is the hens and chickens.

The pitchers are a few years old. I gave this painting to my sister and never photographed it. Finally, I visited her in Sandpoint, ID and photographed it. I'm hoping people like it and buy the card version. What do you think?
I'm going to be selling my cards, some block prints and paintings at a local shop. I'm working on getting everything ready. I made some business cards and I need to stuff cards and envelopes into small glassine bags.
