Nice Glass

Here are some pendants that my stepdaughters Madeline and Alexandra made. I finally fired them because I got some kiln wash. (a couple of days later I found my original kiln wash that mysteriously disappeared. Now if I could only track down a $50 gift certificate I lost and my lost credit card.)
So, girls, which ones do I need to send to which girl. Also, what side do you want the bail (silver or gold, too?)?

Easter Egg Hunt and Fun Fest

Clayton really enjoyed picking up eggs. The "egg hunt" was less of a hunt and more like a "egg pick up" . There was no searching involved because the eggs were just on the floor in plain sight. He still had fun.
Then, we went to the Fun Fest where he got to meet all kinds of characters like the Home Depot guy, the Easter Bunny, Smokey the Bear... He played a few games and won some plastic objects.

Dress for Olivia

I just made a cute pillowcase dress from a pillowcase I got at the thrift store. Hope Olivia likes it!

Dirty boy and new projects

Here are some little baskets I made from fabric sample books, leftover curtain fabric and an old sheet.

Clayton loves to eat by himself. It's always fun to clean up....

Thrifting

Here are some of my finds from Goodwill today. I found a Dr. Seuss fish for Clayton, some funky hand carved napkin holders , 5 pillowcases I will use to sew little girl dresses, 2 sweaters (and the pink is cashmere), some books and another stuffed animal for Clayton. I also got something for my parents, but they will have to wait for them to come in the mail.

More bags

This purse is one of my favorites. I made curtains out of the colorful fabric and a shirt out of the black embroidered fabric.

.

t
iThe black and asian print purse is made from material leftover from a shirt I made myself (black) and leftover material from curtains I made.

This last bag is rather flimsy because it does not have interfacing in it. It's made from leftover curtain fabric and 2 napkins.

More bags (I won't show you the ones under my eyes)

Here are some more Japanese Knot Bags. The bottom of the blue one has a corduroy-like upholstery fabric. These bags are made mainly out of fabrics out of sample books and leftovers. The inside of the bottom were made from my old sheets.

14 months old

Goofy face.

Here's Clayton at 14 months and a pic of me at 14 months on the bottom. I'm not sure how old I was in the one with me wearing a hat. My mom made both dresses I think.

Mommy's Helper

Clayton likes to check out the insides of the dryer because it's like a mirror. He'll take out clothes and throw them on the ground. I don't know why he won't fold them for me.
