I loved a purse from Anthropologie and saw this blog post from Happy Together and thought I could make my own version, too. I bought a purse from the thrift store and hooked through strips of fabric I had in my studio.
The monster t-shirts and onesies are my plain onesies that I hadn't sold yet and I figured if I tie died them they might sell. These are recycled t-shirts with my own appliques made from old t-shirts. I have several more back in NY and a few more to finish here.
Remember that kitchen rug I was making out of old jeans? Well, here is a door hanging made out of some of those leftovers. I don't have a dowel yet, that's why it's not hanging on a wall.
Clayton is getting to be quite a character. He still won't pose most of the time, but if you get him to make faces it sometimes gets him to look at you.
A couple of weekends ago we drove up to the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park. We got a great military deal on a hotel and meals for the weekend. It sure is beautiful!
